Do you require a damage deposit?

Yes, all events require a damage deposit, which is refundable if facility is left intact, with no damages. This deposit is due with final payment.


Do you offer on-site catering?

Yes. Please call the Club Caterer, Bill Bond to set up an appointment. (619) 957-7007


Do you have kitchen facilities for off-site caterers?

Yes.


What is included with the venue rental?

The venue rental is based on hourly pricing. Pricing includes specified venue rental hours, audiovisual equipment, and furniture. Additional hours and equipment will be billed individually.


Is set-up and clean-up included?

Yes.


Do you offer tours of the facility?

Yes. Please call the Rental Manager, Bobbie Brown to set up an appointment. (619) 436-6777.


Can I have a DJ or band?

Yes.


Can I leave my rental items overnight for pick-up the next day?

This depends on the availability of the venue. Ask rental manager at time of booking.


What are your office hours?

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Closed on Thursday & Sunday)


Can we serve alcohol?

Yes, all alcohol beverage service must be provided by a licensed beverage caterer such as Best Beverage Catering, Bar Works Catering, or Event Beverage Solutions.


Can I bring my own food?

The client may bring food, liquor or other refreshments on site; however, a licensed caterer is required.


How many people can be accommodated at the San Diego Woman’s Club?

The San Diego Woman’s Club can accommodate up to 357 guests depending on room usage and set up.


Do you have available parking?

Parking is free at the San Diego Woman’s Club. The parking lot has 14 parking spaces. The bank next door allows access of their parking lot when they are closed. They have 40 parking spaces available. There is also free parking on the surrounding streets.


Does the San Diego Woman’s Club provide linens, silverware, plates or serving dishes?

No, the client’s caterer or other vendors will provide these items.


Does decorating material need to be pre-approved by the San Diego Woman’s Club?

All decorating materials must be approved by Rental Manager in advance and must meet all San Diego Fire Department regulations.


Do we need to remove our own trash?

No. If off-site catering is used, they will be asked to remove items they bring in and help clear trash.


Are security services required for certain events?

Certain types of events and anticipated attendance levels of an event may be required to hire outside security services at the client’s cost.


What is the smoking policy?

California law prohibits smoking in public assembly facilities. Smoking is allowed in designated areas located outside of the facility.


Do you have Audio/Visual Services and Equipment?

The San Diego Woman‘s Club offers a projection screen, sound system, podiums with microphone, cordless microphone, and wireless internet.


How late can I have an event?

Building must be completely vacated by 11 pm. Music must be shut down by 10 pm.
