We now offer Zumba classes at the San Diego Woman’s Club. Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba program is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health. All levels welcomed. There are two classes each week that you can attend.

BIG DADDY IS HERE – A PLAY WITH MUSIC: Big Daddy Returns by Popular Demand
Community Actors Theatre wants to take you back in time a little….back to the beginning of the “Blues”. This “HOT” Musical Revue, to Commemorate Black History Month, is on the Blues, Jazz, and Pop. We will begin the “Blues”, which was said to be born out of heartaches and disappointments. Steaming hot music, shimmering from the 1930s to present. These songs will bring you from sorrow to happiness, for there is a heartfelt, soul stirring message behind every song. This “HOT” shaking Musical Revue will move you, groove you, and leave you with a message you won’t be able to shake! Honor and celebration will be shown to Artists such as, Muddy Waters, (Big Daddy), Nat King Cole, Sammie Davis, Jr., Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Carmen McRae, Etta James, Billy Holiday, and Nina Simone.

Spring Fling Bingo – April 15, 2012 (1 – 4 PM)
Hosted by the Evening Stars Section of the San Diego Woman’s Club To benefit residents of “El Nido”, a safe “Nest” for victims of domestic violence. Funds raised will help support a very special event where women survivors of domestic violence are served dinner, pampered with a new hairstyle, a cosmetic makeover, and professional photo.

Card Parties Scheduled for 2012:
The San Diego Woman’s Club has card parties at least twice a month. All of our card parties are fundraisers. We would love to have you join us. We play bridge, canasta, and one table plays Spite and Malice. We have lunch for $11.00. Some players start at 10 am, others at 11 or 12 and we finish at 2 pm.
We have parties on the following Saturday:
- February 25 – Board of Directors Card Party (10-2pm)
- March 10 – Spring Brunch Card Party (10-2pm)
- March 24 – Athenaeum Card Party (10-2pm)
- April 14 – Fashion Show + Card Party (10-2pm)
- April 28 – Music Card Party (10-2pm)
- May 5 – Books & Views Card Party (10-2pm)
- May 19 – Board of Directors Card Party (10-2pm)
- June 9 – Past President’s Card Party (10-2pm)
All card parties are held at the San Diego Woman’s Club at
