The San Diego Woman’s Club is located in beautiful San Diego, California. First organized in 1892, club members have been active in charitable and philanthropic ventures as well as participants in many and varied social activities and topics of interest to members.
We are a social club and actively involved in supporting libraries, our military overseas, the homeless, music appreciation in students, and those in need. We raise money by hosting card parties, Bingo parties, fashion shows, dinners, and special events. We also raise money by renting out our ballroom for other non-club related events. Our Club uses this money to support young musicians and graduating high school seniors entering college, and address specific needs for many community projects and charities.
The Colonial style Clubhouse at Third and Maple houses our special interest sections that meet monthly for personal enrichment, socialization and charitable and fund raising ventures. Once a month there is a General Club meeting with an interesting program, followed by a business meeting and tea.
Our goal is to make a positive impact on the San Diego Community. Many of our projects and special events offer leadership positions and challenging opportunities. Some of our most recent projects include our Blood Drive, our Annual Benefit Dinner, Dances, Christmas on Third Avenue Event, Spring Brunch Card Party, La Cadena Fashion Show, Table Setting Contest, and Tea Parties. If you are looking for volunteer opportunities, interested in making new friends, and ready to have some fun, San Diego Woman’s Club is looking for you.
The San Diego Woman’s Club is 120 years old and one of the oldest clubs in San Diego. Our clubhouse is also a popular wedding venue. You can learn more about our facility here: wedding reception venue information
